Yes belt is brand new actually. It started this morning after leaving the batteries connected and sitting all day and night but it took a little bit. Had a little higher charge on the batteries as well. Still sounds like they are drained but they are not. I have a new PMD to put in so once that is in as long as it starts for the time being I am going to drive it. Figure it out as we go. Has anyone had a starter make that noise?

If its just like the slow turn noise like its gummed up i have only once or twice it could either be gummed up or one of the wires could be frayed somewhere. you could try tapping the starter with an ax or broom handle or a hammer if that changes it it is your starter

I let it sit for two days without starting it. Just started it about an hour ago. When it first turns over it sounds like the batteries are somewhat drained but they aren't. When I shut it off and start it again it still makes a bit of noise but not as bad. I don't think a starter is supposed to get better after it has been started and worse when it hasn't. lol As soon as I locate the pmd on it I am going to change it and drive it. I say as soon as I find it cuz I am short and have to almost fall into the engine bay to find stuff. lmao
