Help...any advice appreciated!!!
Hello all.
Maybe, hopefully, there will be someone reading this who can help. I have a 95 chevy k1500 5.7, and just recently it has not been starting. I have had starter problems in the past but this time this isnt it....(i dont think). I replaced my battery this past weekend, brand new and my truck still wont start when I want or need it to. I turn the key, nothing. Turn, turn, turn, still nothing. There are no noises that go along with the turning of the key, but my radio, lights n all that turn on. Could it possibly be something in my ignition? If you think so....how can I look at it to verify???

Have you visually inspected the connections for your ground and positive wires? If they are corroded, or not tight enough, they can provide power to the accessories but won't be good enough to make the starter turn. I took my battery out once and did not get the positive tight enough, and 2 minutes later it died on me and wouldn't start until I tightened it up.
