Help with Engine stalling out at Idle
Hi guys, I'm new to the Forum, and I have a problem I was hoping someone could help me out with.

I have a '01 Silverado 5.3 Auto, and when I'm at idle or near idle and turn my wheels, It'll die on me. It happens the most when I'm turning into my Garage but has happened other times. It's not everytime, but enough to aggravate me. It's very frustrating!

I posted this under "silverado", but didn't know the best place to put it, so I plopped it down here too. Sorry for any inconvience. Any help, suggestions, or Ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Help with Engine stalling out at Idle
YOU MAY HAVE FAULTY IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE, ITS SOUNDS LIKE YOUR IDLE IS JUST TO LOW TO BEGIN WITH AND WHEN YOU PUT THE ADDED DRAG ON YOUR ENGINE FROM WORKING THE POWER STEERING PUMP IT PULLS THE RPM'S DOWN ENOUGH TO KILL THE ENGINE. A DEALERSHIP SHOULD BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE IT EASILY ENOUGH. OR ANY COMPETENT SHOP FOR THAT MATTER.
