Default Help I need new shocks.

Hey guys

I need to put new shocks on my 2005 Z71 Crew Cab Silverado 4X4 5.3L Automatic Transmission. There are SHOCKS all the way around (no struts).

Does anyone know the OEM part # for this? What did Chevy use, AC-Delco Monroe??

Thanks Guys

if you go to their web site they will give you all the info and options after you input all your truck's stat's.

I have a 2004 Silverado (5.3L V8, 2wd) and bought new shocks for it two years ago. I got Monroe shocks from Advance Auto; probably $110 to $120 for FOUR of them. They are better than the original ones and cost less, too.

They were two different part numbers, though, for the front and rear. That might not be the same case for YOUR truck, however. Just get them to look it up on their computer screen in the store.

Mine were not in stock, so I had to wait one day for them to arrive from their warehouse. No big deal.

I am pretty happy with them and my truck has a very smooth ride - yet can haul heavy stuff on the rare occasion I need to do so.

Good luck!!
