I have a 2005 crew cab silverado z71, I did not get keyless entry when I bought it and want it now. Is it cheaper or possible to get the factory setup or better to go aftermarket? I dont know if it matters but from reading other threads the auo code might be of some importance. My truck has this code. Thanks Im lost.

 

Just call the dealer and give the last 8 of the VIN code. They will be able to tell you if you can add the keyless entry.
