Ok guys i want to be a new 2011 silverado and do a 6" suspension lift with some 35" tires. my question is will the stock 3.42 gears work ok with the 5.3 engine. i dont really wanna spend the money for the 6.2 L but i think that is the only way to get the 3.73 gears. can anyone helo me out idk what to do i dont have the money to change the gears out after buying the truck or thats what i would do.

 

the truck has the 6 speed tranny...3:42 gears will be ok for now but it'll be a dog. one day you'll wanna change those out and i'd 4:10s with a true trac honestly
