Default Help: replacing a mirror

I'm having to replace a broken side mirror on a 2007 Silverado. The mirror is power operated and heated. Do I have to take the entire door panel off to hook the mirror up? If so, how do I get it off?

there should just be a bunch of clips that pop into the door in various spots. slowly pry the door panel off and disconnect all power connections there should be 3 bolts or so. i know the interior has changed but my 04 has a triangular trim piece above my door panel that pops off and exposes 3 bolts that hold the mirror on.
