Default replacing glass in side view mirror

Hello,
Forgive me if this has been posted before. I did a search and did not find anything. My glass is broken on my passenger side mirror of my 2004 tahoe. The housing is fine. It is just the glass. I went to an auto parts store to see how much a replacement would be and they said it would be over $200 because I have to replace the entire housing. Does anyone know if it is possible to find just the glass? I dont want the fake glass that goes over the broken glass.

Thank you so much for any information you can provide!

I had this happen to my car a long time ago -- wasn't a Tahoe, but nonetheless, I took it to a local windshield repair shop, and they replaced the mirror glass for $20.

GM dealers carry the replacement glass for the mirrors.
