Do you keep proper mntc (no disrespect)? Any service engine soon light? O2 sensor maybe. There is 4 of them. The 2 closest to the engine (left bank, Right Bank) generally get about 100000 miles before going out. When they go out the engine defaults to a rich mixture.

easy fix, get a supercharger!! but structures right, it sounds like you got some o2 sensors reading a lean condition, making it push fuel into the system

with o2 sensors bad, you'd have had SES light up on the dash.
1. go to any parts store and scope for codes.
2. possibly faulty fuel pressure regulator
3. possibly leaking injector seals, though i doubt all of them go bad same time
4. possibly insufficient plugs, not providing complete fuel burn
5. check your air filter.
how is the general mpg? if ECM is pumping too much in, then you should see significant drop in it.
either way, either replace plugs, or take torch to them and burn all the crap off. you might have had them flooded once or twice, and junk slowly builds up ever since, and with junk build up - they slowly burn less and less fuel.

is there a way to test them, or is it just easier to replace them? i'm going to try that and see how it goes...i've also heard that on these trucks the fuel injectors go bad easily and quickly could that be the case? that they are just opening too much? thanks!

i tried to open your link and it does not. try posting thumbnail for forums, works nicely.

anyways, ever since i posted my response, i was sort of wondering - what exactly is your plugs fauled with? just pure gas? all of them? or it's something else AND it is damp/smells with gas? cuz you know, it might be fauled with oil(bad gasket) and just slightly soaked with unburnt gasolino, and might fool you.... any spark plug good or bad will have some gas odor...
