Hi, I have a 98 K1500, and I bought it used a few years ago, been a really good truck, but the only thing is that when you put the vent on Panel it doesn't blow all that hard and I also noticed it is still blowing out of the defroster as well. I just replaced the Selector Mode motor, and it's still doing it. It doesn't matter what setting it is on it still is blowing through the defrost. I cycled it a few times from floor to panel and it changes from panel to floor but its also still blowing out the defrost....so I guess this is a door thing, anyone know where I should go to start on this repair? Pictures would be amazing, or just an explaination of what to do will work also...

 

Just went back out, and noticed it only blows out the driver side of the defrost when on panel or floor or whatever, but when it's on full defrost it blows out both sides. This is not a dual climate control or digital climate control truck just a plain jane A/C controls etc...
