Hey everyone, thanks for reading this.
I'm pretty mechanically inclined,do most of my maint myself. My big problem is my rearview mirror on my 03 silverado, the onstar works, the airbag indicator works, and the autodimming works, what has me bagging my head against the wall is the compass/temp indicator, for awile it would work everynow and then and it seemed accurate. Now there is no display,it doesn't show a damn thing .
Does anyone have any idea on how I could test the mirror or the sensors, there is a small circuit board attached to the winshield which may be something also.....Thoughts?

Captain Obvious here again. Did you check all your fuses at both locations?
Before you start ripping apart your mirror and overhead console, remember that a common occurence in 12Volt systems is as your primary cables(specifically your negative cable and engine-to-ground strap) start to corrode, you start to lose voltage to specific systems.
A careful check of your primary cables may be in order.

Thanks, I figured as much but I can't find a schematic of the wires from the mirror . Does anyone know of a site where I could find the wiring diagram? I've searched but I haven't found anything yet . The damn thing is working today!!
