Just purchased myself some 6000k from HID Kit Warehouse Xenon HID Kits Bulbs Wholesale
Ordered them Thursday morning, and they were delivered today on Saturday.

I will be installing them Monday and will post pictures of them for you if you would like.

I had a pair of 6000 on my other crew cab and I loved them. Im thinking of spending a bit more and getting a pair of phillips HIDs the kit cost around 270. I was researching it today. Post pictures of the install though

putting a bulb and ballast kit is NOT the way to install hids. It is illegal in Europe, Australia, some US states and should be illegal everywhere. The lens assembly is not designed to focus this bulb and it will blind other drivers even if the headlamp is aim properly. Secondly this bulbs are not designed to be switched on and off repeatedly. A proper lens assembly uses a shutter to direct the light for high and low beams. Get a proper lens assembly.

go to the retrofitsource.com and do it properly

Well its the way im going and many others. Never had any complaints and I made sure they were pointed down so it would not blind drivers. However I will check out that site. Thanks for the input.

oh well, as long as everyone else is going that way and no one complained to you as you drove past them; you should be fine.

The prices on your site overwhelm me. That's over kill for what most of us are doing. Its only your opinion that says its not the correct way to do things you don't need all the extra crap to have a hid kit that works properly and does not blind others. It could be quite possible you have had a bad experience with them. Myself and others I know make sure they are done properly because we have all been blinded before by bad setups. That site has some great things but that overkill for what I want.

my opinion...and also that of law makers and the engineers that design these very systems.

Do what you want. I don't care. Just don't profess to know anything about hids.

Im sure money also plays a small roll too. Anywhoooo I checked out that site and if its not to expensive I might go that route. It looks a bit cool too. But ive only seen a hand full of chevy conversions on that page. Wasnt exactly looking into cutting my old assembly but if it works better and dont break the bank I might try it. Thanks for the link.
