300k miles!
I have a 2008 Z71 ( 2wd ) Suburban. Bought it new and have done several cross country tours. Nothing to the point of extreme duty driving. At around 50 to 60k it needed a top end rebuild and chevrolet took care of that. At 120k miles I chose to replace the engine. The active cylinder shut down system ( never cared for it ) ruined 2 cylinders. This Burb is always maintained on time if not over maintained. And with the typical things that go bad ( ac compressor and such ) we are still very happy. Transmission and rear end are original. But just last week the sunroof inner channel took a crunch. Will replace it soon. Looking at a brand new Z71 Suburban but also looking forward to see it turn 400k
Still ticking
oh yeah and 2 dashboards. Waiting for a 3rd lol

365K on my 99 1500 4x4. Picture was 2 years ago after I couldn't find anyone with a 3/4 ton truck to pull travel trailer.
It was a little to much but I made it where I had to go, took my time without any issues.

I bought my truck in December at just under 300k and now I've got just under 313,000 on my truck, runs like a Timex! Doesn't seem to be burning any oil, no ticks, transmission shifts firm and solid with no slips or anything weird. Recently rebuilt the rear diff and replaced the water pump/thermostat/heater/radiator hoses/expansion tank. Everything else has just been usual maintenance! No ticking so far so I'm a happy camper!

Hello.
I just purchased a 2005 Chevy Silverado LS V8 w/ 310K miles. Seems to still be running good.
Not intended for everyday use, just needs.
I would like to give it a good tune-up and would like to know the best plugs and wires for it please?
Oil wise, I'm a Mobil person who will be adding Slick 50 to it.
Any other suggestions, please?

GM needs to get a high mileage club going and fast. I know theres alot of people out there driving there 200+km truck wishing they had the shiny badge to show off to the high society of Fords n dodges that need to be serviced every 10,000k whilst our old gas guzzling, black smoke bellowing, straight pipe singing chevy's are still kickin *** driving by their dealerships! I am a proud owner of a 96 silverado k2500 that has 383,000 km on it! and shes still purrs like a kitten. It sports the 350 vortec and barely burns any oil. I can't take all the credit becuase it was second hand but man the owner before took pride in his **** and that truck has yet to show a speck of rust.
So please everyone strut their stuff AND GET US SOME BADGES!!!!

1996 C1500 Cheyenne Step Side with 5.0L Vortex V-8, at 201,650 miles as of yesterday. Everything original, but had to replace the intake manifold gasket twice over the years. Currently working on restoring it - fixing drivability issues (brakes), AC, and such, then working on a trashed interior (from letting my kids drive it) and paint job. I've owned it since 2000, when it had 53,000 miles on it.

415,368 miles, no signs of quiting, 1997 Silverado k1500
Bought this truck back in 2018. I've had it all the way up to now 2024 granite. I have gone through 3 transmissions in this truck that were bad apples. The engine has held up incredibly well and has shown no signs of quiting.. Exhaust valves are slightly leaky that the engine is still strong
a testament to reliabilty.
