I'm not a single brand buyer, because of competition the best truck is not always the same brand every year. Who cares' if you got over 200,000 miles on your truck, how much per mile did it cost you to get that far. You know mileage, engines, transmissions and so forth. That's the real number, but you do have temper the mileage factor because there is good reason to go big engine, low mileage.

Smile 2006 K2500 with 200500 miles

Just bought it about a month ago. Very clean truck. 6.0 gas but runs great. Torqe convertor is slipping so the tranny is coming out for a rebuild with that many miles. Have a 2011 dually Dmax sitting in the barn.

I had 744,879 miles on my 2006 3500 Silverado daully duramax 4x4 when I totaled it out last March 8th.
My 2007 Silverado 3500 duramax 4x4 has 134,652 on it now. (I've put 32,000 on since April 29th) Never a problem with either one.
