How rare is a 1998 Z71 crew cab? UPDATED WITH PICS
I'm looking into buying a truck with room for my new twins and came across a 1998 crew cab Z71 in excellent condition. My question is, how common are these? Anybody have an idea on how many of these were made? I can't find another one for sale anywhere on the net and the KBB doesn't even list it in their selections for value. I'm gonna do a search and some browsing here and see what I can come up with as well but thought I would ask you guys and see what you thought.
Thx.
Thx.

I have a 98 chevy extended cab silverado Z71 off road, and i think that's it when it comes to the 98 models. It's not a true "crew cab" bc it only has 3 doors. This was some sort of safety idea GM had for the K1500 pick-ups. I think only 99 and newer have a true 4 door crew cab. I will say in good measure that you could fit two car seats in there, but your front two seats depending on how the car seat is facing ( front facing or rear facing ) I've had both in my truck. Booster car seats fit great for kids 2 and up, but the rear facing ones for infants require you to move the seats up, and if your a driver with long legs it'll leave you cramped. Just my expierence

never heard of an 88-99 body style 1500 crew cab. there were 2500 models that were crews in the later years but there werent many.
somebody could have custom made it maybe.
