Ok, more info. I found out that the truck was converted to a crew cab by Centurion Conversions. I forgot to get any pics for you guys but I'll get some when I go back to look at it again.
It does have a few problems, biggest is a crack in the frame. It looks like the truck was put on a lift improperly and the bottom of the frame rail was bent up causing it to crack under the drivers side door hinge area. It is not a hard fix since the vertical section is not buckled at all and everything is still straight but still an issue. It also needs a front axle seal and the power steering pump is going out.
I'm gonna go work on a deal tomorrow or Monday and see what they are willing to do.

I've seen a few 4-door 1500s, 1 was a 93, the rest were a lil newer. The 93 originally came from Canada. The other day here on base, I saw my first Chevy 3500 Crew Cab Short Bed dually. It was a 95 or 96, had Alaska plates.

So I was pulling out of the gas station yesterday and I saw a red 96-98 Crew Cab 1500 Z71. It was sexy.
I love your truck Hotsandrail, A backseat would come in handy every now and then.
And good luck cb11 with your purchase!

I knew you guys would come through with some good info. I picked up the truck yesterday but in case you haven't watched the weather there is over a foot of snow here in VA. I left it at the hospital after picking up my wife and drove her home in her ride. I'll post pics when I get it home, but it looks exactly like the one above.

They fixed it today. Said he put something back together wrong after fixing the axle seal leak. We've still got some snow on our side road so I got to test it out a little and it did just fine. It's finally home so pics will be coming tomorrow some time.
