IM BRAND NEW TO THIS FORUM SO FIRST THINGS FIRST, HI EVERYONE! I HAVE A 2006 SILVERADO TRICK TRUCKS EDITION. I HAVE SEEN THE DIGITAL HVACS IN THE NEWER TRUCK KIND OF LIKE WHAT THEY HAVE IN THE C5 CORVETTES. MY TRUCK HAS THE OLD STYLE WHERE IT IS ALL MANUAL (NO DIGITAL READ OUT) IS THERE A WAY TO HOOK UP THE NEW STYLE IF I GOT MY HANDS ON ONE? PLUG AND PLAY? I HOPE YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. JUST LOOKING TO UPDATE THE LOOK A LITTLE. THANKS!

The digital controls for a 2003-06 would be what you're looking for.
The quick answer is Yes, it can be done. It isn't plug and play, though. You'd need to add the inside temperature sensor (above the driver's left ear on the ceiling) and some kind of motors for the duct dampers. I've read where someone else did it, but had trouble getting the fan to function. I think they had to put a different fan blower in it or something.
Here's a link to where one guy is working on the swap. I don't think he is done though...

Sorry this isn't much help, but maybe someone else could elaborate.
