Default i plan on 305/45/22s on my 07 2500 HD and want to know if they will fit.

I put 285/75/16 BFG M/Ts about 2 years ago and they clear no prolblem. The 305/45/22 are 1/4" shorter but almost an inch wider then the 285s. I have already bought the rims and the offset and the backspacing is right for my truck. I was wondering if anyone knew if the wider tires will rub when i turn sharp?

First off welcome to the forum!!!

How are the 305s shorter? 285 would be a 33 305 would be a 35. Do you have lift on your truck?

315 and 325 are actually much closer to 35". I thought 305 was 35" for a long time too, but its almost exactly 34".

Nope, I stated that both were closer than 305; I didn't think it was necessary to mention that 325 was the closest.

As was I, hehe. Sadly, everything seems to be in metric on these vehicles. It's ridiculous.

The will fit. That is the same size I have on my '07 Tahoe. Being the same basic front clip I have to imagine that they would fit the same.

I do not have a lift on my truck, but i am thinking i might have to put a leveling kit on the front end to clear the new tires. On the specs for the 305/45/22 Nitto Dunegrapplers i am looking at buying are 32.72" high and 12.05" wide. The specs on my BFG 285/75/16 M/Ts are 33.1" tall and 11.3" wide. The only problem I have with the 285s rubbing is they sometimes hit the rubber front inner fender wells when I am turning sharp and the susp. is flexed.

Quick Reply: i plan on 305/45/22s on my 07 2500 HD and want to know if they will fit.
