Default I want my truck a little louder

I have a 2005 Silverado 1500 V-8 5.3l Ext. Cab. Right now i have 50 series 3" Flowmasters single exhaust. My buddy was saying to just put a cherry bomb glasspack. I want my truck louder but not too rediculous. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the easiest and cheapest way to make my pipes louder. Thank yall.

Glasspacks sound raspy and obnoxious to me.
Get a flowmaster 30 series true dual, with 2 separate mufflers.
Also put some headers on too.
It will be plenty loud but still with a defined sound

the reason a glasspack sounds raspy to you is because no one pops em. if you pop em like you're suppose to they mellow out big time. I know, I've done 5 sets of em on my truck, my dads and 3 buddies that have had em. just take the blowmaster off and put a glasspack in it's place or run a dynomax bullet. they virtually sound the same but the bullet is a little louder than the glasspack.

I have the Flowmaster 10 series, they sound real good but i wanted louder so i cut the cats off and got a pipe welded in their place, but wouldn't recommend it unless u want your truck to be pretty loud.

I had an Aero Turbine 3030 muffler on a 2004 D**** truck that I owned. Had a nice motor boat sound that was not too loud in the interior of the truck. That was on a Hemi engine. Not sure how that muffler would sound on a 5.3 Chevy.

Yeah I think I might go with the 40 series and better headers
