I just removed the idler arm and the idler arm frame mount and separated the two and put my new idler arm on the frame mount but I'm trying to torque the nut that connects the two pieces together but the stud on my idler frame mount just spins when I'm torquing the nut... Is this normal? Or is my idler frame mount bad? Or maybe I'm not doing somthing right? No clue please help!

 

I am trying to remember if mine did and I don't believe it did. I will tell you this though, go to youtube and search idler arm replacement chevy or whatever and I guarantee they will have exact or close to the video you need. I hope you get her all fixed.
