Default Increasing Power

I have a 4.8L 08 Silverado. I am wondering if there is any way to get a little more power out of the engine? I am planning on doing some sort of intake, but what else would be pretty reasonable to do to increase power out of this little thing?

Its all about getting air/fuel IN and OUT a tuned and ported/polished intake with smoother flowing headers and exhaust will give over all gains on power...

HOWEVER increase in power comes at the cost of lower MPG, don't be surprised if your MPG drops 2-5...

I agree with others. Installing a CAI plus a good exhaust can really boost the power of your rig.
