Default INJEN AirIntake, Flowmaster 50 Series, and Edge Programmer Good Combo?

Im actually new to having a truck but really wanna get added horsepower cause what guy doesn't right. but im new to upgrading but i dont wanna mess up my truck would these three upgrades be a good combination? My truck is a four door 1500 5.3 silverado with 12,500 miles so if anyone knows anything about this please help. Im antsey about the upgrades but then again i dont wanna ruin my truck. i would greatly appreciate the advice.

its a 2008 and the progammer is the EDGE EVOLUTION by the way thanks for responding

Its a good combo to have a decent intake exhaust and programmer of any brand. They don't particularly have a preference to each other.

It's all very subjective, depending upon the user. My girlfriend has an 01 truck in the same configuration as yours, I hope it runs as well for you as hers does for her.

You lose gas mileage as you gain power. Watch that gas gauge, because performance aint cheap. Keeping this in mind you may want to go one step at a time. Start with your maximum proven increase for the least money, the CAI. It may give you all the power you need at a cool 275$.

Need more? Then it may be time to look into the Flowmasters.

If you're still looking for power, you can use a programmer, but most guys who invest the same amount of money into having the PCM chip reprogrammed are happier than those of us(like me, unfortunately) who bought a programmer and did it ourselves.

Nelson Tune, Black Bear, and a few others do some very nice PCM programming, apparently.
