I have an 08 silverado crew cab lt 4.8 with the stock head unit, not bose. Im installing a 12" sub with an amp. I want to keep my stock head unit. for my amp power on ive spliced in with a door speaker wire. issue with that is the door chime. ive adjusted the amp and the sub still picks up the sound enough to vibrate good enough to be annoying. so ive seen you guys talking about an aux hook up that you install in to the back of the head unit? and you dont have to splice the speaker wire for the amp/sub to turn on? i dont want to hook up a toggle switch either to turn the amp on. im not sure what exact aux one it is, ive seen some ranging from 25 to 80 bucks that has been linked on your posts. please if you know the exact part i need or help me out i would appreciate it very much. thanks
