My 2008 Silverado has the integrated brake controller. I'd like to use it for a 5th wheel in lieu of an aftermarket unit. Will the trailer plug connect to the bumper plug or will I have to install a plug in the truck bed?

 

unless the cord onyour fifth wheel is long enough, you'll need a plug in the bed.
