Ipod connection

RE: Ipod connection
Im not familiar with 07 stereos. Is it supposed to have an ipod link? There are two ways of going about it;
1. Low Cost: A FM module which plugs into the headphone jack and broadcasts the muic over low frequency FM. You dial your factory radio into that channel and your done.
2. Mid Cost: A link cable or adapter that will plug into the auxilliary input on the back of the stereo. Could cost quite a bit if the radio does no support ipod indexing.
3. High Cost: A new aftermarket stereo that suports ipod indexing and a basic adapter plug to connect the ipod to the stereo.

RE: Ipod connection
I also have the 07 silverado, and the connection is an audio cable that connects from your Ipod to your stereo face. once you connect the cable, you must choose auxillary on your stereo mode ( the same way you choose AM/FM, CD, etc..) I hope this is helpful for you!

RE: Ipod connection
Your factory radio should have an input for an AUX device such as your Ipod. If so the button to activate once it is plugged in is the same as the one you choose to play your CD. Circuit City or Best Buy should sell what you are looking for for around $15. It just plugs to your ipod through the headphone jack and into the input on your factory radio.

RE: Ipod connection
My radio has an input for the patch cord that links an mp3 player direct to the radio. Just plug it in and it works. Actually it is the earphone outlet of the mp3 player connected to the radio input.
