I have a 2010 Z-71 with 33x12.5x20s and my gas mileage is crap. If I have the truck programmed will this give me an increase in gas mileage or do I need to change the gear ratio?

6 speed or 4 speed tranny? A custom tune will do wonders for it. 33s aren't as big a difference as 35s so regearing may not need to happen. What gears are stock in the truck and what motor?

5.3 with 6 speed trans. Not sure about what the gears are. I think they are 343 but not sure.

That's not that bad. Do the intake tube and filter then get a custom tune. Should put you around the 15 mpg mark and make the truck much more fun to drive

Good deal. Thanks for the info. I am going to get this done soon as I get home. I am also going to install true dual exhaust system with 12" glass packs. So it will sound pretty sweet as well.

If you dual it out you'll lose some bottom end torque and don't go to big of a pipe. No larger than 2.5" on a stock motor, get them to install a x-pipe in it as well
