I have a 1995 K1500 4WD 350 TBI. It is very difficult to start after it sits for a few days. It will crank and crank and sometimes will start. Usually it kills the battery before it will fire and go. Runs good if it starts. Any suggestions? Thanks

 

When you turn the key on the fuel pump should run for a few seconds to get fuel to the tb then shut off. In a quiet place have someone (with good hearing) listen at the tank while the key is turned on to see if this is happening. You could have a bad relay.

 

Thanks. We checked, pump is good. Pulled Distributor cap and center post was totally burned off. Replaced cap, wires, plugs. Runs like new.
