Default K2500 Blows 4x4 fuse!

Hi. My name is AJ and I am new to this forum. I have a 1992 K2500 and it keeps blowing fuses when I put it in 4x4. I have replaced the front actuator and the relay on the firewall for the 4x4 system. Both seemed to fix it at first but then it was back to the same ole' stuff; not engaging! I have to huge holes in my driveway to prove that it didn't! So now I am asking for help from you! I am not familiar with the 4x4 system too well so any help you can bring to the table would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

AJ

your problem is that your having a short somewhere in the system , you need a test light and multimeter to test the voltage from each wire and to see which wire is touching ground .

your probably gonna need wiring diagrams unless your already a skilled electrician.

dont put a higher amp fuse either you may start an electrical fire . and thats bad

hope i helped . good luck
