Default kick down cable

hey everyone i have a 92 chevy 1500 short bed extended cab 4 wheel drive.....i just put a trani in it and was wondering how long the kickdown cable is supposed to be?

not sure about length, as usually they're the same for these trucks. if it's overdrive trans (700r4) and you don't have a cable, you'll have to go get one. then follow procedures to get it set right. the overdrive trans doesn't use the cable as a kickdown, it uses it to control line pressure for shifting thru all gears.

ya i know how to adjust it and stuff just the old one broke to the point a cant really get a good measurment off of it so i was just wondering if anyone new....i am pretty sure it is the 37 3/4 cable but not totally sure

the length is mainly to get it to turn without getting kinked at throttle body. cable is cheap tho. here's one at advance auto.
