ok thanks for the info,its a fact this engine does not have a knock sensor i checked the vin and this truck came with a v6 and a standard tranny Im wondering if im stil using that v6 wiring harness on this v8 is that why it idels above 1000?

 

the tach is probably off if thats the case, is it aftermarket?
