Default led lights.

i installed a pair of led bulbs(3157) into my turn signal bulbs on my 04 silverado flicked on the turn signal lever. and my bulbs work but flash really fast instead of normal speed. any suggestions as to what to do?

you probably need a load resistor in place, the LED's do not create enough resistance for the circuit to work correctly, the system thinks the bulb is out so it flashes quickly...

You might check with mdtahoe, I think he may have upgraded to LED's on his Tahoe and he may be able give you some input as to where he got them and which ones worked...

they sell the flasher that has the resistor in it already. so you just plug in a new flasher. or get bulbs with the resistor in the bulb already.

I did it on my 01 duramax, just changed the flasher, which is in a hell of a spot to get to under the dash, but mine woek great, no problems at all!!

What kinda bulbs would be a good one to use? I've been wanting to upgrade to these on my z71.

Where did you get the flasher? i changed all tail lights and front markers lights over flashes fast here and there, would like to fix the problem.. thanks
