Default Left turn signal triggering the hazards

Hello,

I have an 05 Sierra and my left turn signal is triggering the hazard lights. The right turn signal is still functioning. I haven't installed anything in the truck that would screw anything up. I am not sure if it's a fuse or a faulty relay but it's only on the left turn signal. Can anyone provide any assistance?

Thanks,

Bad ground circuit and it's 'almost always' at that left tail light assembly.

Sounds like the multi-function switch on your steering column. Which the stick you move to control turn signals, wipers, etc. Its very easy to replace but part is very expensive, so best to be sure before going that route.

I saw the assembly on amazon for $75 (ac delco). The problem is off and on. It seems if I go slow it works but if I just click it over it will flash the hazards.

Can you explain the ground circuit.

Thanks,

Wow that pretty cheap. Ive done some on other vehicles and they`ve ran up to $300. Good Luck
