Default Leveling a 2500HD

I recently bought an '02 2500HD 6.0 4x4. Didn't really need a truck like that but with only 89K miles on it I couldn't pass it up. Anyway, the rear sits higher than the front. What is the best and most economical way to either raise the front or lower the rear?

Thanks,
Steve

its suppose to have some rake for when you load it up or tow.

if you want it changed, install a torsion bar key kit that will allow you to life the ride height of the front suspension. get extenders for the shocks also. it will need an alignment afterwards.

search readylift for the price of the kit. Labour for the install will be 1 hour and 1hour for the alignment.

Crank stock keys first. They should level it without buyin a levelin kit. Did it to my girlfriends dad and it sits perfectly level, btw his is a 02 2500hd diesel

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it.

BigRed922, mine is also the LS Short bed. Heaviest thing I'm towing is a 20' Bullet.

it not the load, its the fact that the shocks will be extended past there normal working range.

also any changes in ride height with change the caster, camber and toe setting. it you don't align it, you will get toe wear which results in noisey, irregularly worn tires.

I have a dynomax bullet on mine to a 5 inch rolled tip. Sounds amazing. But def get new shocks for it and get an alignment. Where are you from?
