If you want to level it for free and quick you can just crank the bolts for the torsion keys inder the truck just be sure to turn both bolts the exact same amount. I did this and got about an inch of height of my 03 silverado. Just get a wheel alignment asap after doing this.

So does installing a leveling kit screw with the steering? or Suspension and ride quality? It annoys me how the front end sits lower and is not level.

What would be better buying the aftermarket keys or just turning the screws ?? I use my truck to travel and would like to have the same quality ride i have now.

I was told to get a wheel alignment asap when tightening the bolts. I have yet to see any different wear on my tires and my alignment hasnt had a problem yet. After tightening the bolts my suspension feels more slightly more stiff which is what i was wanting.

Depending on how much lift you are wanting determines if you should buy aftermarket keys. I only achieved an extra inch of lift on my truck when tightening the stock bolts. If you buy aftermarket keys the point that the bolt presses against is more offset so you can achieve more height. Hope this helps
