It's been years since I've taken my truck through a good mud hole but seeing what it looks like under the intake you would think different.
I burned a valve the day after thanksgiving and decided it wasn't worth getting it fixed since the truck has 200k miles on it. Decided to put a used motor init.
Just pulled the intake off today and this is what I found (see pics). I found a lot of mud, leaves, sticks and even a baby crawfish. Went to pick up the crawfish and the tale broke off and fell apart. It's had to have been there for years.
This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Until now the only work that had to be done to this is the rear end at about 93k miles, ball joints and water pump at about 150k/170k miles.
You cansee what it looks like under the intake and see the abuse it's been through.
2001 SWB Single Cab Z71 4x4.
