Default looking for some info on my 2001 silverado LT 4x4

2001 silverado LT 4x4 offroad 5.7L vortec. I'm new to the vehicle and looking to mod it to give it a little more get up and go. i'm thinking CAI, Catback And cam but Im not totally sure about the engine gen. i'm assuming its a gen 1. Kinda new and looking to a point in the right direction, or at least somewhere to look. All im seeing is the 5.3 coming up and im not sure if they are interchangeable at all.

well I can tell you one thing, You shouldn't have a 5.7 in a 2001 silverado. Should be a 5.3. Also how big is your wallet? performance can go on forever. I've got a few recommendations but its all up to what you can afford. A few things that say they give you these big hp gains but they don't can be pretty much forgot.
