Default Looking for some opinions

I'm about to get dual exhaust on my 01 Silverado half ton and I'm just seeing what people think is better: straight out the back, 45 degrees out the corner, or 90 degrees straight out the side behind the rear wheels? Basically just wanna know which one would look better because I already know what muffler I'm getting. It's going to be a cherry bomb extreme 1 in 2 out.

I have mine 45 degrees coming out at the very corner of my bumper. i did mine this way because you always see straight out and then like 90 degrees. Also, don't get little tips, get the 4 inch tips.

correct, get a decent sized tip or it'll look funny. And make sure you clean them, after a while they'll end up rusted through

Yeah thats why I didn't want straight out the back..

Also I'm trying to decide between a flowmaster super 10 and a cherry bomb extreme.. Any opinions on that? Or is there a better one then those 2? The louder the better! Not going with true duals just yet though.. Don't have quite enough funds for that.

I'm not a big fan of flowmasters so I'd go cherry bomb for sure. Neither one are my favorite though

I have the flow master 10 series, I wish I would have went true duals but the 10 series gives a nice rumble. Its all about preference; I would recommend going to youtube and listening to them. They got all kinds of videos

Well, I'm kinda leaning towards the flowmaster super 10 series at 90 degree angles out the back behind the rear axle. Does that sound like a good setup? What tips should I get? Slash cut? Rolled edge?

same exact set up i have besides the 90, I don't think you will be disappointed. DO NOT get rolled tips, get the slanted cut ones, believe me the rolled edge looks real goofy. I hope you are happy with everything when you get it done. Once again get the slant cut 4 inch or if you go real big a 5 inch tips and you will not be disappointed.

I wouldn't 90 them personally, but if you want that then get it. But go for the 4" slash cut tips. Rolled tips look funny unless they're comin straight out the back

^^^like they said, its your preference. i have a dynomax bullet with a 5inch rolled tip, LOVE IT. the rolled tip changed the sound, and deffinetly for the better. Youtube is you bestfriend. listen to a bunch of videos and narrow it down. good luck
