Low end power is terrible

I have a 2009 silverado 5.3L. Truck is stock. What mods will help with the low end power. It seems as if engine is horribly restricted. Any ideas would be helpful.

It's probably the gearing, my 06 Z71 is a little sluggish off the line with 3.42 gears but it screams on the highway.

Look into a Black Bear custom tune. The can reduce the torque management, which is what is restricting the bottom end.
