Low Oil Pressure
Well it doesnt look like its the Oil Pump & the Guy i have looking at it says ' its best in a case like this is pull the engine & rebuild the whole thing' ????
I said why rebuild the whole thing if is a bearing & shaft thats bad-
He said its safer in the long run seeing that you already pulled the engine !!!!
This doesnt seem right to me ?? Should I pick my Truck up & get another opinion, Or do you guys agree with this opinion ???????

He means lucas oil stablizer, which will only cover up the problem, the stablizer is for helping the engine when you start it (relieving "dry" starts) and makes the oil thicker.
Best thing would be to forget him and let me do the work!!!! Seriously though pull the rod caps and check bearings and rodsfor any discoloration or metal grinding. The bearings can be replaced easily. If the rods are discolored or show any signs of grinding you will need to take the motor to amachinist. If you do the work yourself be sure to wash down the inside of the engine really well to remove any metal deposits. Don't forget to replace the oil pump. Good luck.
sorry havent been on for a while, i wouldnt rebuild it if i were u, i would do like everyone else said and use a thicker oil and pull the caps off and inpect the bearings, check the crankshaft for any grind marks or discoloration, and if you can use a flashlight and try to take a peak at the rods, if i looks like the bearings messed up and not the crank then just replace that bearing, its not really the right way to do it but it will seriously be alot cheaper and it will work, but if the crank is messed up, then you might as well pull the motor and rebuild it yourself or just replace the crank, cap and bearings,
