Default Low rpm power??

I have a 09 silverado, 5.3.. and have done a volant cold air intake, and a 91 octane power program. But the trucks seems very doggy at low rpm, like when i romp on it from a stop, the truck just bawgs, and doesn't really go.. and the tranny just doesn't seem to keep up.. Is anyone else exsperiencing this? when the rpms are high, man the truck just comes alive.. i'm most likely going to do magna flow dual exhast to help the breathing but who knows.. just may be a doggy 5.3... Maybe i'll add a supercharger.. LOL

do the supercharger...LOL My truck has a hard time at lower RPMs to. I think its the gearing of the trans and rearend, feels like hesitation. About to see if a Blackbear Tune will help.

It's the gear ratio, the 5.3 develops pretty good hp but is shy in torque at low rpm.

I have the 3.42 gears in my 06 1500 Z71, if I can break traction with a little bit of a turn when I take off, it will smoke em into 2nd gear. For towing I wish I had the 3.73.
