lowering guru's needed!
hey guys,
I have limited skills with a lot of things in life, and suspension mods are one of them
.
I have a 76' C10 1\2 ton and am looking at this kit to lower it. I'm liking this 4-1/2" front 6" rear drop. what is involved for instilation for this kit? http://www.mcgaughystore.com/product...73%252d87.html
the front appears to be just swapping the springs out simple enough, what about the rear? do I have to cut out the frame? with the alingment be straight?
If it's that bad the 2-1\2 front 4" rear kit might be better..

I had a 3/4 drop on my truck and just removed it because the ride was horrible even w/ decent shocks, if your wanting a sporty stance then do a 2/2 spring shackle drop
alignment is all thats needed
alignment is all thats needed
big job, replace the front springs, flip the rear springs and install a c-notch in the frame, also, u will have to get new shocks too, better off going 4" spindles and 2" rear shackles, no new shocks needed, minimal work, and u wont have a crappy riding truck
