Mirror Help!

Hi all I am a newbe here.
I have a 2003 1500 Silverado 4x4 Z71, Extended Cab Red Pickup. I had regular Stock Mirrors. Well I traded a guy that has a 2003 2500 4x Pickup for his mirrors. His Mirrors have the turn signal arrows and are towing mirrors. They extend out about 10 inches. Here is my problem!
The Mirrors adjust up and down using the power mirror adjustment on the drivers door. The Turn Signals in each Mirror work...However, the Mirrors do not extend themselves out for towing. I have to manually extend them. I have doubled checked the wiring when I installed the mirrors and they are plugged into the correct places in the door panel (They are color coded and only go in one way.). So is there a fuse that controls the mirror power to extend them for towing? Did I hook something up wrong? Any help appreciated. I don't mind extending them Manually but would love for them to extend via the door button!
Thanks for your time
Dave

Are you sure they are POWER telescoping? I have only seen the manual extending tow mirrors. Even when i went to the service department, they said I would not have the power extending option.

if they have a top and bottom glass, they're manual extendin mirrors. If they have a rubber cover between the mirrors and the truck itself, then they have the power extendin feature. Most tow mirrors that come stock, are the manual extend mirrors
