Model question
[sm=lame.gif]This is probably a dumb question, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. [sm=headbang.gif] How do I know what model my truck is? C-something, K-something, 1500, 2500, 3500? It's an '85 Silverado dually with a crew cab and a long bed, 454 engine and 4-speed (with granny gear) tranny, if that's significant. It just says "Silverado" and "3+3" on the truck. If anyone can answer this question for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

RE: Model question
In 1985 the Chevy trucks used 10 (1/2 ton), 20 (3/4 ton) and 30 (1-ton) series badging.
So a 1985 1-Ton Dually would be a C30 if 2WD or a K30 if 4X4.
The 1500, 2500 and 3500 designator was introduced in 1988.

RE: Model question
I've seen the 3+3 logo's before, from the factory. I "think" that they refer to the seating or number of passengers that you can carry. The "crew" cab is the 4-door, so it's 3 up front and 3 in the back. Not sure of this, just my WAG.
Also, back then, Silverado was a trim level, as opposed to a model ID.
