More POWER!
Hello,
I currently have a 2007 silverado 1500 nbs. I am going to be investing some money in my engine and would love to see what you guys think or if you have any other suggestions.
I will be putting headers and a flowmaster 40 series to help it breathe better and i already have the cold air intake from K&N. I will be putting a different camshaft along with better injectors with a texas speed supercharger on the top and a dyno tune.
Now, my concerns....

Will the stock tranny be able to handle all that? Will this eat gas up? Any other mods i could do?
What type of injectors should i buy? This will be a daily driver truck.

The longevity of the tranny is gonna depend on how often you mash the skinny pedal... I think you're getting close to benefiting from standalone engine management, like megasquirt, but the learning curve is seriously steep... Hopefully the dyno tune will be enough to keep it reliable as a DD.
Gas mileage with a supercharger is very dependent on your driving style. Because it will be breathing better, you shouldn't see much change unless your driving style changes along with the new fun mods.

Stock tranny with a supercharger and cam. Don't think that'll hold up. Mine blew with just headers, gears, and a custom tune. And I don't drive it hard. Be wise to spend money to build you a reliable tranny and rear end if you have the g80 posi diff.
