My truck went to the Dr.
Decided to have my oil pan gasket repaired by a mechanic.....I wanted to do it my self, but after looking underneath and finding that I will be working tight spots with hand ratchets and moving Tranny cooler lines...didn't trust my self.
Wife say get a mechanic to do mechanic work...and save your self the headache.
Mechanic found another leak (above pan gasket)....near the chain (maybe timing chain). Says he can repair only pan gasket, but when the other leak gets worse, he will have to do the pan all over again.
Glad I listen to the wife!
I am having them throw in a tune up and to clean my injectors as well.
Cost: $1,100
