Question Mysterious noise on passenger side

There is a whirring noise that seems like air flow, not metallic, on the passenger side that changes with rpm's. You get use to it, but I'm curious what it could be, I cannot isolate it.

I have 05 1500 Silverado and mine was doing the same, it is like when you blow in a coke bottle sound. Well I found out the trim that goes around the windshield was loose and under the trim there is the tar stuff they use around the windshield to hold in place. There was a gap there and wind would flow in there making that sound. I used a butt load of clear weather resistant sealant to fill it in. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Good luck. I took me months to figure out. <o></o>

Awesome!!! I never considered that. So you say it's around the windshield? I mean mine has a rubber seal around the windshield. But I'll look around for other things, like the vent visors that came on mine. That's the tinted plastic visors on the outside that you see on lots of cars.

Yeah, it is the plastic cover that goes between the glass and frame. It covers the glass and frame. In the corner of mine was loose and there was a gap under the cover between the glass and frame.

Are you talking about the trim around the windshield or the plastic visors attached to the doors?

On the outside there is a black trim that fits over the glass and truck. It covers the gap between them.

Yeah, but mine is soft rubber, not plastic.
