Default Mystery Wire

Was wondering if anybody here has any idea on what this wire is. Someone told me it might be a "pre wire" for fog lamps, but the dealer said my truck isn't wired with that. It's behind the grill seen in pics. Thanks for any answers. This is on an o6 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab V8

If your truck has a outside digital temp on rearview mirror or on the dash its probably the sensor for it

I agree, that sensor sets behind the front bumper.

Well, it looks factory, and two wire connector. You might google Chevrolet silverado options, see what pops up. If you have a voltmeter you might check for voltage with key off/on, light switch on ect.
