Was wondering if anybody here has any idea on what this wire is. Someone told me it might be a "pre wire" for fog lamps, but the dealer said my truck isn't wired with that.It's behind the grill seen in pics. Thanks for any answers. This is on an o6 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab V8

I think that is your front inpact sensor.

 

Looks like the outside temperature sensor.
