I purchased a silverado 2500 HD LTZ . I coudnt find one with a nav. I bought a nav system through ebay, was told it could be installed in a silverado as a plug in play. No flash needed. went to the dealer and they said it was the wrong harness in my truck! the radio is GM part 25797978. mfg denso. please help.

 

I did a similar thing. Had to post and get response from other members. You should be able to install the radio if you have the Bose sound system (which you should if it is an LTZ) but you'll need to purchase the GPS antenna #15201798.

The truck will need to be programmed as an LTZ Monte Carlo for the entertainment system though. Take a look at the NAV thread in my profile...

My nav system was out of a Tahoe or Burb (Rear view option) & it was a plug & play! Of course VOSS was a different story.
