Since we obviously can't save you from yourself, here goes:

Try a higher octane gas. Add octane booster.

Narrower tires with a flatter overall tread profile will help.

Jack up the back end a few inches. My van only had a V6, but once the body was clear of the rear, it was smoke-tiresville. Balance forward puts less weight on the rear, and viola'! You'll get massive oversteer, and have to adjust your wheel alignment, but you'll have that really cool "5 minutes before I die" look, and you'll be able to convert no end of money into noise. Doing this is as simple as adding a few spring leaves from the junkyard to each side of your OEM leaf springs.

Of course, there's always 410 gears.

A Cold Air Intake will help you jack your revs quickly. This is the doorway to the deep-blue smoke which so effectively wears your tire's treads to the flatness which leads to easier burnouts later.

i have to disagree rivereye. higher octane gas will not do anything unless the truck is tuned for it and octane booster really doesnt do anything.

also check your rpo codes in your glovebox to make sure it has 4.10's. if you didnt buy it new and ordered it with 4.10's or have the window sticker stating 4.10's, it may have 3.42 or 3.73 gears which will hurt some.

scan cable custom tune by blackbear performance with all TM and abuse mode removed. in this case be ready to drop about $2K+ on a new built trans because the 4l60 will not hold up to that abuse for long.

 

You may have to let the truck roll forward a bit then get on it..

 

Word, it probably costs me $5 in tire wear if I spin my tires from a stop. Its more fun anyway to feel torque & acceloration than spinning the tires. If I am in a hurry, I do a rolling start before I punch it, but that is rare for me, I want my truck to last.

 

okay. im gettin kind of lost in it all. is ur truck stock ride height?
cuz my 04 1500 would spin for days stock. but as soon as i putmy lift in and biggers. she wont spin now due to the angle of my drive shaft. i dont know if that helps at all.

 

MnstrRebl, yours probably wont spin because it has bigger tires, not necessarily the drive shaft angle, though that may or may not affect it; I'm unsure.

 

yea. i have a 4.5" lift wit 285/12.5/16 wheels. she dont lik to spin. on a good day i can spin em but she dont liek it. everyone has been telling me that its because my dshaft angle is to steep. but i am unsure.

 

Isn't there something about a 4 second delay on WOT?? My 2007 NBS 6.0 won't do it
